HERE'S A CHANCE TO WIN RM100!

UCITY WRITING PAD DESIGN CONTEST

The Civil Engineering Department and UCITY are keen to have a standardised writing pad that students can use for their assignments, tests, projects or other purposes. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has writing pads that are widely used by civil engineering students and lecturers at many universities in the United States. Work done on these standardised writing pads give a sense of professionalism and pride.

Dr. Shahir Liew offers a reward of RM100 to the student who can come up with the best design of a writing pad. The conditions are as follow:

  1. Must bear the UTP and UCITY logos
  2. Must be A4 size
  3. Design must be completed by 29th of April 2011
  4. Open to all UTP students
  5. Free design submission

Students who are interested may see Henry Yew (13-03-24) for samples and ideas on how the new writing pad can look like or email him for further explanation.  Designs can be submitted to him at henry.yew88@gmail.com. The results of the competition will be released to all participants through e-mail. Thank you :D
